
Milestone UMCo50 is a high-temperature cobalt-based surfacing welding wire independently developed and mass-produced by Milestone Metal. Matched with the imported G-CoCr28 (2.4778) alloy system, it features a stable cobalt content of approximately 50% reinforced with high chromium and tungsten alloy formulations, engineered for extreme service conditions including high-temperature corrosion, thermal shock and sulfidation erosion.
It is applied to surfacing repair and pre-strengthening of components such as petrochemical residual oil nozzles, sealing faces of high-temperature & high-pressure valves, heat treatment furnace slide rails and trays, metallurgical furnace components, high-temperature turbine seals, internal combustion engine exhaust valves, hot forging dies, thermocouple protection sleeves, as well as high-temperature wear-resistant parts for glass and metallurgy industries.
Applicable Welding Processes
GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) and PTA (Plasma Transferred Arc) surfacing. Compatible with automatic robotic surfacing production lines, it delivers high deposition efficiency and is ideal for mass strengthening and repair of industrial workpieces.
