Scholar CA1911-G from Milestone Metal (Changzhou) Co., Ltd. is a nitrogen-strengthened austenitic stainless steel metal-cored gas-shielded welding wire complying with EN ISO 17633-A standard. Its deposited metal delivers outstanding cavitation resistance, corrosion resistance and erosion resistance, with performance comparable to cobalt-based alloys.
The deposited metal features a high strain hardening rate. Under cavitation service conditions, a hard surface layer forms on the workpiece surface, which cooperates with the ductile substrate to absorb stress and drastically reduce component failure rates. It boasts superior corrosion resistance and fatigue performance compared with martensitic stainless steel and 300-series austenitic stainless steel. It is primarily adopted for surfacing repair of water turbines, and also applicable to hydraulic pumps, valves, pipelines, propellers and other hydraulic equipment.
This wire is supplied in 1.6 mm diameter, suitable for DC pulsed welding with multiple standard shielding gas options. Flat and horizontal welding are its primary positions, while automated welding processes enable all-position welding. It comes in standard 15 kg packaging, ideal for wear and corrosion-resistant surfacing of various hydraulic facilities.
