DC TIG Welding
DC TIG (Direct Current Tungsten Inert Gas Welding), also known as DC GTAW, uses a non-consumable tungsten electrode and inert shielding gas to produce a stable, clean arc. With DCEN polarity, it provides high penetration, low heat distortion, and high-quality welds.
It is widely used for precision welding of carbon steel, stainless steel, titanium, and nickel alloys. Proper electrode preparation, gas shielding, cooling, and current control are required to avoid contamination, porosity, and electrode burning.
