


As the core carrier for the development, utilization and protection of marine resources, offshore engineering covers various facilities such as offshore platforms, subsea pipelines, ship structures, and offshore wind power equipment. Its service environment is extremely challenging, being subject to long-term complex loads including seawater corrosion, wind and wave impacts, low-temperature freeze-thaw cycles, and deep-sea high pressure. This imposes extremely high requirements on the structural tightness, corrosion resistance and structural strength.
As the core process in the manufacturing, installation and maintenance of offshore engineering structures, welding quality directly determines the safety, reliability and service life of facilities. The selection of welding materials and their adaptability to welding technology are therefore the key prerequisites for ensuring welding quality.
